Mallow and Angled Onion Soup

'Weed', Oxford English Dictionary: Exotic or invasive species of vegetation misplaced from its original place of origin.

For as long as I can remember, eating from the garden was part of my life. Growing up in Melbourne with an Italian heritage, the garden has been where food came from, including the weeds.

“Mallow and Angled Onion Soup” is a mouth-watering soup that will have you fencing off your weeds so the lawn mower does not cut them. There are many ‘weeds’ for human consumption that are full of carbohydrates, oils, and proteins and are available right at home for free.

Bon appetit.
